[PAR] Gender: Male / Level: 5 / HP: 85% / Ability: Blaze Moves: Scratch, Growl, Dragon pulse "Eh?" Jackie grunted. Something caught his eye yet again. Another Bug type had rolled forth! Except, unlike Cascoon, it was mobile! Thankfully, all this time in the forest had numbed Jackie to the concept of Bug types. Plus, it was just a tiny Caterpie. Though, she seemed to have some kind of intention. One Jackie read but couldn't confirm on his own. Crouching onto a single knee, he let his Charmander return back to the forefront. Charmander, though paralyzed, would act as a translator. Not that he had an issue with it. He wasn't fighting, anyway. No, he was simply a translator for now. Depending on what the Caterpie wanted was how Charmander was to be placed. "Huh? You wanna battle? Okay," Charmander replied. Turning head to Jackie and giving a confirming nod. While it wasn't exactly formal, Jack could hear in his head, "A Wild Caterpie appears!" in the back of his head. "Okay then. You're on Caterpie!" Jack stated. Placing his hands on his waist. Charmander standing in front of his trainer. "Okay, Caterpie. We'll fight. Get ready, alright?" Charmander warned. Jackie issuing his moves forth, knowing that Caterpie had a speed advantage due to Minun's previous actions. "Charmander, go for a Growl. Then follow up with a Dragon Pulse. I doubt she has Mirror Move, too." The boy laughed a tiny bit, though no one would really hear it. He figured it was a little humorous how they were about done in by Starly and her useful, albeit annoying, tactic.

Gender: Female / Level: 6 / Ability: Shield dust Moves: Tackle, string shot, defog57% / -1 Atk Growl hit! Dragon pulse hit! Caterpie used string shot! Caterpie used tackle! The caterpie in question got herself as ready as she could, but simply wasn't fast enough as her little bug self to actually dodge out of the way. She easily recognized but attacks as such but still wasn't able to get out of the way. She took the brunt of both growl and dragon pulse, before attempting to slow the pokemon fighting her down to her speed. She had nearly none of it, so lowering the opponent's was the next best thing. After that, she would leaped into the air, foregoing her useless multitude of legs to just go straight for the source of the attacks.

Charmander watched as his attacks were successful. He was satisfied with his work, but at the same time, he wasn't as satisfied as he wanted to be. The reason most prominently being that his opponent wasn't any more a challenge than other Caterpie. Though, he didn't want to take away from the small insect. She had some serious drive to be challenging his trainer and him. Oh well. Charmander was affected by both, the String Shot and Tackle equally. Thus making the small lizard Pokemon become somewhat slowed as well as forced back a small distance due to the force behind Caterpie's Tackle. "Huh." Jack grunted. "Alright. Hit 'er back with another Dragon Pulse," Jack instructed. Waving his hand and Charmander opening his maw up before releasing a powerful ray of dragonic energy once again.

Gender: Female / Level: 6 / Ability: Shield dust Moves: Tackle, string shot, defog14% / -1 Atk Dragon pulse hit! Caterpie used string shot! Caterpie used tackle! The two pokemon on the field seemed to be playing some strange version of projectile tag. The caterpie used string shot, the charmander would use dragon pulse, and repeat. Again caterpie was hit with the dragon pulse, still unable to muster the speed to be out of it's way. Again in response to this the caterpie would attempt to lower the opponent's speed before barreling in, now copying the previous tactic of the scatterbug, rolling with her entire body rather than using her worthless slow legs. This method should put some real punch into tackle, if she was lucky.

Charmander tanked the next set of attacks quite well. It was kind of impressive on the lad's end. Now, Jackie had a plan. He instructed his partner not to move this turn. No, he felt as though he had done more than enough damage to the tiny Caterpillar. Now was just to capitalize on what he had done thus far. As Charmander rolled backward from the mighty force behind the girl, Jackie reached into his pack and readied up a ball. Waiting for the correct moment. "Last ball til we hit Pewter. Make this one count. Caterpie!" Jackie shouted the wild Pokemon's name. Pitching the ball directly for the insect. Aiming to capture her with ease.

Gender: Female / Level: 6 / Ability: Shield dust Moves: Tackle, string shot, defogCaterpie was caught! The small bug pokemon was ready to get back into her ball shape and roll away some, eager to finally be even in the slightest able to win this. Instead of getting a chance at pulling out the win though, she was encapsulated in a pokeball from seemingly nowhere. She had completely forgotten to watch out for the trainer! She'd been warned that humans take pokemon away to fight, but was that option really all too bad? She wouldn't mind being used to fight often, or a trainer being able to call on her for her efforts again. That, and if she wanted to evolve, wouldn't a trainer want that too? With all these thoughts in mind she simply laid there, resting up from her fight and giving in. The ball would click shut, allowing the trainer to receive a new pal.

"And that settles that. Im gonna name you May," Jackie stated, picking up Caterpie's ball and tucking it away safely. Now, it was time to hurry on up out of here! Quickly! Collecting Charmander, the teenager began running forth. Truth be told, he was getting really excited to get on out of this forest!
