site rules
1. Follow the Proboards TOS. Of course it applies on every Proboards site, but follow them so no one gets in trouble.
2. Be kind to each other. Seriously, just be nice to each other, we're all people and we all have lives outside of this, so try to make it nice to be here.
3. We are a one character per account site. There is no need to make an OOC account, and please do name your account after the character it is connected to, or a staff will do it for you when accepted. You can have as many characters as you can keep active. If someone with many characters begin becoming inactive, staff will PM you a warning. If you remain inactive we will ask you to choose a character or two to delete.
4. There is no minimum word count on site at the moment, but this is subject to change. If something crucial is left out of your post, your partner will have to make assumptions, so give them something to work with.
5. PG-13 site. Light swearing is allowed, just don't go overboard. With sexual content, pan away or black out anything past kissing.
6. Chat speak is not only discouraged but not allowed for in-character posts. Typos are entirely understandable, and everyone is human, but please do your best to use proper grammar and spelling.

roleplay rules
1. No god-modding. Most of us know what this is but for those who don't, god-modding is making assumptions about the reactions to your character's actions. For example, if you are playing John, an unacceptable post would read "John pushed Sally onto the floor." this means that Sally can't have possibly moved or been strong enough not to fall over, and isn't okay.
2. Characters on site are allowed to be humans, lone Pokémon, or even hybrids known as gijinka. All three are allowed, though gijinka are a bit special, and have their own specific rules set out here.
3. Your characters are allowed to be in more than one thread at a time, as long as you have a good idea of the timeline of your characters. While they can be in more than one thread at once, they may not be in more than one place in the same moment in time.
4. PG-13. It's Proboards' rule, sorry.
5. Do your best to not have a 'mary sue' character. Being too generic or flawless is a reasoning that staff will give to deny your character, so avoid it.
6. Be active. As most sites do, we will conduct activity checks once a month after a few members join. This is only to be sure that everybody is still around and still active. Post in the hello/goodbye forum if you are going inactive or going away for awhile.
7. Have fun! Cliche but it's what we're here to do, so do it!
