Gender: Male / Level: 7 / Ability: Shed skin Moves: Harden Minun was caught! Minun was in fact easily caught, the unconscious pokemon allowing the pokeball to snap shut around herself. In her opinion, as long as she was able to get stronger and train as often as possible, she would be perfectly happy with this arrangement. Meanwhile, a cascoon would dislodge himself from a tree on complete accident, falling to the ground with a thud, and a small bit of shaking in response to this dislodging.

"Gotta say, you put up a real fight, little fella." Jackie complimented the now captured Minun. Smiling and clipping the ball onto his belt. While he let Charmander remain outside of his Pokeball, Jack grabbed another ball from his inventory and tossed it directly into the air. The orb crashing down and emitting a white light out of it. From unidentifiable to identifiable, the light then became dog-shaped before revealing itself to be Lillipup! Or, Nadia as she was referred as. The puppy of a Pokemon being greeted by a kneeling Jackie, who was covered by licks and doggy kisses. He didn't really mind the affection. One thing about Lillipup and other Pokemon, in general, was that the one's who were sociable seemed to have an ability to love their trainers regardless of faults. Rising to his feet, however, Jackie and his two Pokemon took off. Venturing deeper into the forest. Nothing quite catching their eye. Well, except for a Cascoon who had just plopped down before them!
Unfortunately for Jackie, he jumped from the sudden surprise. Lucky no one was there to see it, though. Rubbing his chin, he had to figure out what he'd do in this situation. The thing about Cascoon, and Pokemon like Metapod and Silcoon and the rest, was their inability to fight effectively. Inf act, if he had to guess this thing probably only knew Harden! "It can't bite, right? Ah. Helping it won't hurt," Jackie shrugged. Bending over and grabbing the Cascoon with both of his hands. Holding it like an infant for a moment. "I think you were over here. Here ya go," Jackie umbled. Attempting to place Cascoon up on a tree branch that was relatively low. He hoped the Bug type wouldn't mind his help.

Gender: Male / Level: 7 / Ability: Shed skin Moves: Harden The cascoon stayed pretty still as the trainer picked him up. He had no reason to fight against being put back in the tree. In fact he actually liked the idea of being safe from most pokemon up in that tree, so why struggle? Nope, in fact he simply sat there, as his brand of pokemon were known to do. The bundle of string cocooning itself simply stayed still and calmly went to sit in that tree. He was surprised though, this is a trainer? Didn't they like to fight, or catch pokemon? Would that happen?

"There ya go." Jackie hummed, lowering himself down from the tree he had placed Cascoon onto. Giving a thumbs up before walking off and deeper into the forest. While he would've fought the Cascoon, it just wasn't fair. The poor thing could only Harden. That wasn't a fight.

Gender: Male / Level: 5 / Ability: Big pecks Moves: Tackle, sand attack, feint attackPidgey used feint attack! Pidgey used sand attack! From this tree that cascoon had been set on, a pidgey would erupt out of it's leaves. How dare that human put the stupid cascoon back on his tree! Why is it so hard to find somewhere quiet to sleep? It doesn't matter to the little pidgey. There's a trainer here, so he gets to fight! He goes in swinging similar to the minun, but with slightly better attacks. A feint attack to kick things off, a move that wouldn't miss and would do a nice amount of damage. Then, it was time to hit his opponent with a sand attack, hopefully leaving them blinded so he could just keep on attacking without retaliation.

Another Flying type that was interested in combat. Fantastic. No, seriously. Jackie was glad he could encounter something interested in fighting him. It made him feel much, much less guilty about knocking it right the heck out. And, it seemed that this Pidgey was upset due to how he had put Cascoon back. Talk about selfish! Fine, if that's things were gonna be then so be it. Jack was going to force this thing to learn how to share its space. Unlike Cascoon, this Pidgey wasn't as immobile and able to move and find a new home as freely. Hmph! "Alright. Nadia! I know you're a little new to this but you should be up for this right now, but let's deal! We're gonna knock this thing right out!"Jackie called to Lillipup. The puppy running forth and into the battle scene. This Pidgey was a little creep though, kicking the battle off with two moves. First, a sand attack. Lillipup was a swift one though, narrowly avoiding the attack. However, the feint attack that followed dealt some damage. Nothing to major, thankfully. With Nadia's turn appearing, however, she attacked as told. Jackie instructing her to lead off with a Leer. Following the Leer, she'd go forth and attempt a Psychic Fangs!

Gender: Male / Level: 5 / Ability: Big pecks Moves: Tackle, sand attack, feint attack55% / Stats Pidgey used feint attack! Pidgey used sand attack! The pidgey smirked happily at his own success, even if the sand attack hadn't done all too well the feint attack had hit nicely. After that he soared back up into the sky, looking back only when he started to swoop back down, hoping to land another attack. This strategy had saved him from having his defense lowered, but the psychic fangs that came up to chomp at him may have been a bit too fast for him, and they hurt. The pidgey didn't realize how much he would be damaged by the attack, but definitely realized after. He would need to speed this up, get hit less, hit his opponent more. So he tried, going for another round of attacks, sand attack then feint attack.

Gender: Female /Level: 5 / HP: 44% / -2 Accuracy / Ability: Pick Up Moves: Leer, Tackle, Odor Sleuth, Psychic Fang "Not bad out of this Pidgey, but I'm puttin' it out. Nadia! Again, another Leer and Psychic Fang!" The teen called, his voice projecting out powerfully and mightily. No fear in his voice and only confidence oozing out of his very breath. Intent was present and while it was a killing one, it was a victory seeking type. "Capitalize on its stamina! It's about as low as yours, all ya have to do is piece it up!" His commands were given, but Pidgey was faster. This time, unfortunately, Nadia was caught by the Feint Attack and Sand Attack.

Gender: Male / Level: 5 / Ability: Big pecks Moves: Tackle, sand attack, feint attack10% / Stats Pidgey used feint attack! Pidgey used sand attack! After landing whatever hits actually would land, the pidgey would again take to the air. He wanted nothing to do with the pooch on the ground as long as he wasn't hitting them. So, he hit air, again managing to not be hit by the leer attack. His timing was still wildly off, soaring too low too soon and being bitten by yet another psychic fangs. This couldn't continue. How was he still being hit? He shouldn't be, he should be winning this battle. He struck first, his moves never miss, how hard is it? He went in for two more attacks, trying to finally end things here.

"Alright, let's finish this up!" Jackie shouted, putting one foot forward. Almost as if he was asserting his and his Pokemon's dominance over the Wild Pidgey. It had given them enough trouble as is. Geesh. It seemed like every Bird Pokemon in this part of the region hated trainers and their partners with a burning passion. First Starly, and now this Pidgey. Darn. Either way, this battle was just about over, so there were no real worries. "Another Psychic Fang! Let's waste this Pidgey!" He shouted. Lillipup, first being struck by the Feint Attack once again but avoiding the following Sand Attack with relative ease. Only after did Nadia rush forth and attempt a final chomping attack for the Pidgey.

Gender: Male / Level: 5 / Ability: Big pecks Moves: Tackle, sand attack, feint attackKO'd Catch or leave? The pidgey thought that nothing was going to stop him, nothing at all, until finally one last set of psychic fangs sealed his fate. He fell to the ground, collapsed and defeated. What happened to him was up to the trainer now. He might be caught or he might be simply left to his own devices.

"Get back!" Jack called, finally. Nadia running back, though the poor girl was visibly tuckered out from the battle. "Good job out there, Nadi. Rest up, okay?" Jackie complimented, petting the tiny puppy on her head before returning her to her Pokeball for a well-deserved nap. Now, to deal with this Pidgey. "You. You were tough. That Sand Attack-Feint Attack combo was a tough one. Should I take you with is the real question. Hm...," The boy rubbed his chin, considering his options. He eventually came to a decision, though. "Alright. C'mon you. I'm gonna have to call you...Squall. Because of weather and that sorta stuff." Jackie smiled. Walking over and using a blank ball to capture the knocked out Pidgey.

Gender: Male / Level: 5 / Ability: Big pecks Moves: Tackle, sand attack, feint attackPidgey was caught! The pokeball used to capture pidgey would shake it's trademark three times, before giving it's ceremonious click in regards to the state of the pokemon inside. This pidgey was in no condition to fight back at the moment, and was easily caught. Along those lines, when he woke up pidgey would have a new trainer and team of partners to look forward to training with. For now though, he's out cold.

That settled that. Onwards, to the next piece of their gigantic adventure. Just...where to, next? He had been walking for some time and it had started to feel like he was walking for centuries. That, coupled with the Pokemon battles thus far? It felt like he was at school. Just, not as boring as one would hope. Ah well. Jack could only shrug and proceed forward. If he remembered, or simply checked his pack, he thought he had one Pokeball left and room fo one last catch. But what could be next? He had three Normal types, one Fire type as well an Electric type. What could be next..?

Gender: Female / Level: 6 / Ability: Shield dust Moves: Tackle, string shot, defog100% / Stats As the pidgey was securely tucked away in his new pokeball, a caterpie would slowly emerge from the grass, giving off her own little squeak to the trainer. Trainers like to battle, right? Well caterpie wanted to be a butterfree someday, like mama... so she was going to have to battle too! That was all there was to it. This was her going for her dreams of having wings, right here. She would battle, and hopefully she would win... but probably not. All her siblings had trouble fighting, so they all went out in pairs or groups, but this one was the odd one out. She had no partner to speak of, but she was going to try anyway! "Hey! I want a b-battle!"
