Route 9 is a long eastern-bound route running along the cliffside in the north-east of Kanto. This route has various intertwining paths, cut off from each other by cliffs. At the end, it connects to Route 10 by a small river and a path downwards.
A naturally formed underground tunnel that begins in Lavender Town and comes out in Cerulean City. Because it has not been developed, it is inky dark inside. A light is needed to get through.
This plant was once abandoned and infested by electric types. It has recently been refurbished, and it is now generating power for all of Kanto.
