meow meow meow♪ my way of living cannot be changed so easily "Nya~ we finally made it!" His ears twitched with excitement as he trotted into the city, leaving the trees and worn paths behind for tall buildings and cement walkways. His long, light brown tail curled behind him, bouncing with each step he took. Pale arms remained wrapped around the incubator carrying a yellow egg, his grip loose and relaxed, only tightening slightly when he needed to readjust his arms. "Rosa wants food!" Small feet carried him forward, disregarding the fact that he needed to slow down for the Clefairy toddling behind him, unable to keep up due to her shorter legs. "It's time for dinner, but Rosa wants pancakes!"
Rosario paused, swiveling around on his heels to look behind him. A frown turned down the corners of his lips. The Clefairy was nowhere to be seen. Hm, perhaps I should have put her in her ball. This isn't good. Even if Viridian City was one of the smaller cities in Kanto, it was still easy to get turned around. Someone might take her for a stray, and they might try to steal his Pokemon! He was supposed to do the stealing, not someone else! Thin brows knitted together, and his lips pursed with a pout.
His boss should frequent this city because of that stupid gym leader disguise. He should find Ophelia before the boss or any other grunts do. He did not need a mess to clean up. Flicking the tip of his tail in annoyance, Rosario trotted off, letting a look of worry cross his features as he called out, "Ophelia!" [googlefont=Raleway]

[attr="class","sinmain2"] [attr="class","sinlyrics"]don't threaten me [attr="class","sinlyrics2"]with a good time [attr="class","sinbody2"]Viridian city. It's a beautiful place full of a ton of awesome people. That said, it was still kinda boring. Luca knew how strong Giovanni's pokemon could be, so it was useless trying to go and fight him right now. Instead Luca figured that she would simply stock up here and then move forward. The incubating egg was tucked safely her bag, since she feared to hold it in case of dropping the poor thing. No way she wanted to lose the precious little pokemon. Flare looked up to her and asked the obvious question, " Do you have money for that stone yet?" she would question, excitement in her eyes. Luca couldn't help but laugh at that question. Of course she doesn't! She got thrown on the streets of this city with nothing, how could she possibly have gotten any that he wouldn't have seen. " No, no I don't. Sorry Flare." as Flare huffed at that remark, Luca realized that her evolution had been a painful and life changing event, in fact it was what brought about this journey, if she thought about it. Maybe she should hold off for awhile, or maybe evolution didn't hurt so bad for full fledged pokemon? She couldn't be sure, but got back on the Viridian city sidewalk regardless. The two were off to get some food, or in her case ask people on the street like a beggar. She honestly had no money to her name. meow meow meow♪ my way of living cannot be changed so easily "Opheliaaa~!"
The name was called again, steps hurried as he tried to find the fairy Pokemon. Thin fingers cuped his mouth as he called once more, dropping them away only to aid in readjusting his grip on the incubator. He let out a whine, stopping his steps to peer into an alley. "Ophelia? If this is a prank, it-- it isn't funny!" His ears swiveled back and forth, tail twitching as anxiety began to bubble inside him. Part of him briefly wondered if the feeling was true or if it was merely his body playing along with the act.
He needed to find her, that much was certain.
Rosario turned on the heels of his shoes, a worried frown on his face as his caramel eyes scanned the street. "Not good, not good..." His tail began to curl around his leg, and he took off once more. He rounded the corner, opening his mouth to call once more, but his voice never made it out of his throat. It caught as soon as his eyes landed on the form of a strange girl and her Eevee. The natural response to most would be: Oh, it's a cosplayer. For him, however, he knew better.
Perhaps he should have kept his distance, but his feet were carrying forward before he could process what was happening. "H-hey!" He called out, wrapping his arms tighter around the incubator. "Have you seen a-- um, a Clefairy around here? Rosa can't find her anywhere!" Tears threatened to spill from his eyes as his steps slowed down when he neared, and the panic was clear as day on his face. Soft brown ears turned back and drooped, and his tail refused to remove itself from his leg. An unknown gijinka could be trouble for him, but it was worth a shot. [googlefont=Raleway]

[attr="class","sinmain2"] [attr="class","sinlyrics"]don't threaten me [attr="class","sinlyrics2"]with a good time [attr="class","sinbody2"]Luca walked down the street with her partner, shoes tapping on the ground as she when, and talked back and forth with Flare. They did eventually need a plan if they were going to beat the gyms after all, and Flare wouldn't do great against any gym leader at this stage. With that in mind, she especially wouldn't do good against the first gym leader, he had rock types, if Luca remembered right. The two went back and forth, Flare insisting that she could handle it just fine, and Luca trying to think of where they could find a better pokemon for the job. This was interrupted however, when the pair was met a young boy, possibly another gijinka. He certainly had the features of one, but the gijinka's that father had made were rare, weren't they? Had he thrown out many others on top of her? Probably, thinking back. Luca realized she was selfish to think she was alone, but these were thoughts for later. For now the boy proposed something a little more troublesome than Luca's identity crisis and past troubles. A missing clefairy! The boy ran around a corner, clutching an egg a asking for a lost clefairy. Luca's tail was first to react, flaring up a bit in alarm before going back into it's sway, pace increased. One of Luca's many features was easy excitement, a lost pokemon! " No, sorry Rosa." she started, recognizing third person speech when she heard it at the very least. " I'll help you look though! A lost pokemon is no good for you or them!" she offered, her bright and nearly childish thought patterns being announced. With that Luca looked down to Flare, before putting her in her pokeball. " No use getting you lost to." she remarked. If the kid had nothing else to say, she'd be off to run around looking for the clefairy, ears up and excited for some odd reason. meow meow meow♪ my way of living cannot be changed so easily The Persian seemed to wilt as the other gijinka gave a negative. His shoulders slumped down, and his grip tightened around the egg's incubator. Caramel eyes turned down to observe the ground below, a soft sigh passing through his nose. "Should've guessed..." He mumbled, pinning his ears closer to his head. They would have blended into his hair had it not been for the slight indent they created. His head tilted down as well, just enough so that his bands fell forward to conceal his eyes. To anyone else, he was still staring at the ground, but his eyes had already turned up, studying what he could see of the other Gijinka.
Probably a Flareon. How obvious can you get by going for your own Pokemon counterpart? He would have scoffed if he did not have an act to keep up. I wouldn't be caught dead with a Meowth. Okay, maybe one from Alola. Their little smirks are adorable.
He blinked, raising his head and perking his ears as the girl said she would help. A small smile formed on his lips, breaking through the worried frown. A full smile would not appear, not yet. "Really? Thank you, mistress! His thin, brown tail slowly uncurled itself from his leg. Twin ears twitched, observant eyes appearing uninterested, glancing away as if to continue his search, as the gijinka put away her Eevee. It's easier to lose something locked in a spherical prison, girly. Be a shame if there happened to be a pickpocket around these parts.
Rosario let out a hum, returning his gaze to the other gijinka has she took off. She was way too excited about trying to find a lost Pokemon. He shrugged before trotting after her, calling out, "Opheliaa~! Where are youuu!"
Elsewhere in the city, after being swept away by a crowd, a certain Clefairy found herself surrounded by young children, no older than five. Small hands reached forward to grab at anything they could touch. Discomfort was written all over her face and in her rigid posture, yet the children were oblivious, giggling as they pulled at her ears and wings. "Oh dear... Ouch! Don't pull that! Where are you parents? Where am I? Rosario, hurry!" [googlefont=Raleway]

[attr="class","sinmain2"] [attr="class","sinlyrics"]don't threaten me [attr="class","sinlyrics2"]with a good time [attr="class","sinbody2"]As Luca turned away and headed down the path, the trainer behind her called out his partners name. Luca then committed it to memory that this search was for a clefairy named Ophelia. This is mind, Luca put her loud nature into practice. " Opheila! Come on clefairy!" she called, voice large and nearly booming against the buildings lined up loosely along the street. She was obviously never so loud in casual conversation but shouting was something she loved to do just for the heck of it. Her steps were somewhat fast, walking about without thinking of the trainer trotting along behind her. She didn't really expect the persian gijinka to follow along behind her. She expected Rosa to take a different path, go look for the clefairy elsewhere, and Luca could dash around covering more ground for him. In fact she would hardly realize he was there, head scanning about for a pink blob with wings that she wasn't yet quite seeing. Perhaps she wasn't looking hard enough, maybe she wasn't anywhere near the pokemon in question, or maybe the pokemon didn't want to be found. Luca had no idea which of these was closest to the truth, but she'd do her best no matter what to help this poor trainer find their partner again. That, and the clefairy didn't deserve to be lost without their trainer either. A lost pokemon was just a bad time all around, aside from Luca apparently. This search gave her an odd sense of adrenaline and joy, bright smile on her face as her eyes frantically scaled about, tail wagging in it's odd puffball flareon way. She repeated her call to her hearts content, not realizing that the trainer was still behind her.
