Intelligence. Eurydice has an IQ of 163. It's not just her ability to solve problems in lab situations. Eurydice could calculate maths as quickly as a simple calculator and she could play entire concertos by hearing it once. She can master languages just by hearing a ten minute recording of it and she masters art with ease. She has a very photographic memory and can remember even the tiniest detail. It was her brain that interested Giovanni a lot. This has led her through countless experiments. Giovanni was hoping that he could use her as a weapon in Team Rocket. Imagine that! A genius working her way backstage in Team Rocket. They could rule the entire world.
But intelligence was not all there is in Eurydice. The reason why Eurydice has to be chained up and kept under close observation was that she was feral. Her strength is two times stronger than an average human being, and she lacked the empathy to humans. Her Pokemon DNA was quite strong inside of her, and her instincts mean that she would protect herself in any mean possible. This can include attacking other humans without any hesitation. This is why she's kept locked up most of the time. They're afraid that she could injure other people and herself. She's a loose canon that needs to be reined quite carefully.
When human emotions overwhelm her towards a breaking point, Eurydice will have a 'mental breakdown'. The 'mental breakdowns' is just a term coined by Giovanni and the scientists of Team Rocket. This is when she loses control over herself, and all hell breaks lose. She becomes less human, and more Pokemon. She would attack anything in close proximity with her, even those that she knows. As a Glaceon gijinka, Eurydice retains some of the Pokemon powers by being able to freeze the air around her and the items that she touch. The only way to stop her is to give her a large tranquilizer doze.
Team Rocket has not ruined her feisty spirit, even after she broke out.She will always keep on fighting, no matter what the cost. Although she cannot bear the touch of other humans, she could at least control herself to tolerate human presence near her. She also refuses to interact with people wearing lab jackets, because of the trauma that Team Rocket had pushed her under.
She refuses to talk much to other people, preferring instead to talk to Pokemon in their language. She also acts like a Pokemon sometimes. Like for example, she would steal food although she has the money or she would arch her back and hiss and spit in Pokemon language to other people when her mood changes drastically to anger and fear.

HISTORY
Test Subject 20024 is the younger sister of Luca Knight, born through Giovanni's gijinka experiment. Test Subject 20024 is never aware that she had a sister. She was born with a purpose to serve Team Rocket one day. It was immediately clear that by the age of three, she was a prodigy genius. She had thought herself how to read, and was able to imitate complicated things like piano songs that were only shown to her once. Giovanni was particularly impressed when he gave her a violin to find her playing Bach in a hour.
She was never an open kid, and didn't like the touch of other people. She could scream and throw tantrums when approached by a Grunt, and even go so far as in trying to scratch and bite the Grunt. She never had a mother figure and was passed from one scientist to the other. She lacked the empathy with other human beings. Giovanni decided that he must not waste her potential and used her as their main lab rat to study evolution and use her.
Test Subject 20024 was given a name at the age of four. Giovanni decided to call her Eurydice, after the nymph who got stuck in hell. He thought it was a funny joke but while he told her that, Eurydice understood. Team Rocket was hell, and she was going to be stuck there forever. She was never going to come out. At the age of four, Eurydice got it.
Her erratic behavior was the reason why Giovanni wanted to keep her between lock and key. The first major incident--or could it be said an accident?-- happened when she was five. So far then, she never really seriously injured anybody except for some bites and scratches. It happened one day when she refused to go to the lab to read instead. The grunt in charge used his Pokemon to pull her towards the lab. The situation ended with the grunt's arm bent at a 90 degree angle with bone sticking out and Eurydice making a run of it. Of course, they caught her by firing a tranquilizing gun and that Arcanine who was guarding the door, but Giovanni decided that she must go inside a cell and stay there for the safety of other people and herself.
She grew up in the cell, and the only thing that she was given were books. She grew to be distant and reluctant, and to dread the footsteps of incoming Grunts that were going to escort her towards the lab. Sometimes when stressed, she could even try to injure herself. Cut herself. And in those days, Giovanni would order her bound and have her fed through an IV.
As she grew older, the experiments got more and more worse, and sometimes they would hurt her. This was to check several things like whether or not she could regenerate. They would inject her with something, and watch her shiver and scream on the ground before ditching her back into the cell where she would burn with fever for days. They would put her in a maze, and test her ability of direction, scent and sight. They would burn her with fire, electricity, ice. It was painful, and Eurydice did not like it. She despised it.
One day, when she was twelve, Giovanni came home with an ice rock. He told the grunts to bring a thrashing and clawing Eurydice towards the lab, and there, he gave her the rock, forcing her to take it.
The pain was so bad, Eurydice blacked out. Her muscles contracted and she began to scream. She remembered rocking around and screaming while the pain wrecked her body, but it was the first time she had a real 'mental breakdown'. This was when her pupils grew larger, and she went on all fours and attacked. When she come through, she was back her cell and her hands and legs were bound. There was blood in her fingernails, and scientists and grunts surrounded her with guns and their Pokemon. There was a ringing in her head, and she realized that she was different now. She was blue, not an Eevee gijinka anymore. She realized that the atmosphere--the cell was freezing because she saw Giovanni himself was wearing a coat. But she didn't feel anything at all. The results of the experiment came in, including the injury tally. Some of them were heavily injured with broken bones and cuts, and according to the rumors, a scientist was dead because she had broke his neck.
Eurydice was subjected to even more experiments. The grunts wanted to bring out the things the evolution has given her. There were days when they would knock her out and leave her dazed in her cell.
When she heard that there was another Flareon Gijinka like her that was thrown out, she realized that she could have a future out there. She staged an escape, and fought her way out into the street. The escape was hard. She was an asset that Giovanni needed. She was 15 when that happened. She was up against a ton of other Pokemon and heavy tranquilizer guns, but she was fast and made a run for it through the open air vent.
She suffered heavy injuries, but she made the escape. She limped her way out of Viridian city into the forest, where she pulled herself together. She healed herself, regenerating her wounds. Regeneration was something else that Eurydice could do although it was very slow. But her life-threatening wounds dried up. She knew that Giovanni would be looking for her because she was considered a dangerous asset. They tore the forest searching for her, but Eurydice was good at hiding. The grunts came back to Giovanni empty handed.
The human part of her decided to show itself, and Eurydice found herself asking on what she was going to do next. She had to hide from Giovanni, maybe find herself a disguise. She was pointed towards a Lab quite close to Viridian City, and that where she would be going to next.
She dares to use the name Giovanni has given her without even thinking for an alias. 'Eurydice Elizabeth Knight.' It's a logical name, and most of the Grunts knew her as her Test Subject name anyways. So she can still go unrecognized. It's only Giovanni who called her 'Eurydice.' It's okay, she was going to prepare herself against him. She's going to get an Eevee from the lab, and begin training herself. She wasn't going to lash back to Giovanni. Revenge wasn't her thing, but if he tried to get her she would be ready.
